Independent Institute for Environmental Issues (UfU)
The Independent Institute for Environmental Issues (UfU) is both - a scientific institute and a citizen-based organisation. It actively supports and implements social innovations in order to achieve its vision of a lasting sustainable society by actively working together with political parties, the economy and civil society.
In addition to its scientific activities, the institute initiates and engages in local and international projects and networks. UfU regularly publishes the results of its work as studies, proceedings, educational material and handbooks as well as in papers and journals.
